A time for everything
dimanche, juillet 2

For months, I have been telling others that I’m going for London study tour. Now, I’m going to write this entry with great regret and sorrow. I’m not going for the London trip.

To all my beloved friends who joined the trip with me, I’m deeply sorry. I’m going to back out from the trip. Pardon me for unable to tell the story behind it. It is also hard for me to elucidate. Please believe me that I was really keen to go for the trip. However, the current situation doesn’t allow me to do as I wish.

I was left with choices. It was one of the difficult decisions I’ve to make in life. I’ve made up my mind to give up my London trip. Trust me; I was in agony while making this decision. I yearn to look at the world outside of Asia. I want to see for myself whether the grass is much greener than Asia. With a curious heart and a strong craving for knowledge and experience, I joined the trip.

I could have continued to anticipate about the trip. I know I could do that. No one could restrain me. I’m not known for being an altruistic. It’s not in my blood. However, I’m forced to spare a thought about the consequence. I just couldn’t brush the thought away. With much reluctance, I’ve to give up the trip.

When I was making the decision, I asked God why life has to excruciate me with such knotty situation. God answered to me. There’s a time for everything.

Ecclesiastes 3 - A Time for Everything

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones
and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace
and a time to refrain,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

there's a time for everything. Perhaps, it's not the right time for me to go oversea. i'm really sorry that i'm backing out.
