MENTORING had mentoring and met my mentee. Her name is Venus. Yes! the song that goes " I'm your VENUS. i'm your fire.." That venus in the song. Oh well. I heard her name wrongly. I thought it was something like linas or what. I was like WOAH.. such a cool name. Then i've this form for me to sign in and i needed to write down her name. I asked her to spell out her name for me as i didn't want to spell it wrongly. Then, people around the table turned to me and were like " HUH! U DON'T KNOW HOW TO SPELL VENUS?" Only then, i realised that i've heard wrongly. But of course, i didn't said out lah. It's so embarrassing.
I'M UR VENUS! Oh. I went through chinese and science with her. I tell u. The chinese is super hard lah. I'm like what the hell is it. Those commas and etc. Chinese is super duper particular about those. Then we've to like ask around cause none of the mentors sitting around my table knew the answer. And i don't even know how to ask others about the qns cause i don't even know how to read those weird symbol. * To make it more embarrassing, my mentee has to teach me that* BAHHHH. And oh.. I just learnt that satelite only revolves around Earth. So cool hur. Ya.. overall, it has been a nice day.
